Comfortable Connections

“Connie’s ability to draw parallels between the natural and spiritual is not only interesting, but thought provoking and challenging.  While she’s deeply spiritual, her easy manner captures the attention of those who are not.  Her willingness to share life experiences makes her real and relevant.”

My church, New Life Presbyterian (in Harrison City, PA, near Pgh), is looking for a Christian speaker/singer for our May Mother/Daughter Banquet (The Sat. evening we choose can be at the speakers convenience). We have a limited budget, so I will need to know if you are available and what the fee would be.

    Thanks so much,
    Sue Yaklich

    Hi Connie!

I am a friend of Linda Jackman’s and I have worked with her. I would love to go on one of those retreats! And, I would love to hear you speak. I love nature; love to photograph it. I believe God is constantly showing us he lives in everything I see outside in nature. I often go out when I can and take photos of anything I see (mostly wildflowers). They bloom just a little while, and I believe they are the most beautiful of flowers. I would love to make up a photo book of just wildflowers – that is a goal of mine someday. Those wildflowers have been kissed by the creator!

Connie spoke at our Ladies’ Tea in April. She did a wonderful job expounding on her topic “Hope, the Anchor for Our Soul.” With her take home notes and treasure to remind us, we all appreciated her, and I have heard numerous comments about how much the women liked Connie and her easy, engaging way. When she mentioned the church retreat they are having next April, women are already thinking of going to it!

    Hello,
I’m from Tower Presbyterian church in Grove City, PA. I was supposed to be at the REVIVE retreat last year up in Emlenton, PA but my daughter was having my grandson instead, we were so blessed!! But ever since I have been pondering having a ladies retreat at my church and I believe you know good friends of mine, Cliff and Lynn Hovis. Cliff and I are on the Evangelism team at Tower and I’ve really been thinking about how we could incorporate your Revive our Relationships or Hope The Anchor for our Soul for our ladies would be wonderful. I’d love to talk with you about it or have you forward me your fees and requirements for this to happen. I’m really not sure we could do an overnight, but maybe a full Saturday with a lunch in between would be wonderful.

You can reach me at this email the best and/or my cell at 724-992-9411.
I’m excited to see how we might be able to have a ladies retreat and connect with our Lord together.
